Those who dedicated part of their lives to serving, protecting, and caring for others also deserve a place to reflect and reconnect with what truly matters in life.
Military service and public safety professions require courage, discipline, sacrifice, and commitment. These same values are shared by veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, corrections officers, dispatchers, and other first responders who have dedicated themselves to serving their communities.
Many have spent years responding to crises, witnessing human suffering, carrying tremendous responsibility, and standing in difficult situations on behalf of others. The experiences of service often leave a lasting impact that extends far beyond their years of active duty or professional service.
Those same values continue to guide many veterans and first responders as they seek a greater sense of purpose, spiritual growth, and a deeper connection with God as they navigate everyday life.
At Centro Espiritual Luz Divina, we honor the service and sacrifice of both military veterans and first responders, recognizing their shared commitment to protecting, serving, rescuing, and supporting others.
They stood for us. Now it is our turn to stand for them.
Serving Those Who Served
Some served on the front lines.
Some protected our freedoms.
Some answered emergency calls, ran toward danger, rescued those in crisis, and stood watch over their communities.
Many carry experiences that few of us will ever fully understand.
Whether in military service or public safety, they answered a call to serve with courage, sacrifice, and commitment.
Now it is our turn.
Our mission is simple: to ensure that every veteran and first responder who feels called to this path has the opportunity to experience peace, community, and participation in the spiritual life of our church, regardless of financial circumstances.
Through the generosity of our community, sponsored retreats provide veterans and first responders with time away from the pressures of daily life to reconnect with nature, silence, God, and a supportive spiritual family.
They stood for us.

Sponsored retreats are part of the ongoing religious activities of Centro Espiritual Luz Divina Church. Their purpose is to facilitate the participation of veterans and first responders in the spiritual life, religious ceremonies, and church community regardless of financial resources.
